Eating well, etc...
Good news, I'm not a total slacker when it comes to mealtimes. I made myself a decent breakfast this morning.

Eggs with seeded and diced jalapeño, a bit of black pepper and parmesan on top, sides of buttered plain bagel and a nectarine... and coffee, of course. The coffee is a Honduras El Sauce Alejandro Guzman from Sweet Maria's, roasted to Full City plus. Very, very tasty.
Before that I walked the dog, however. I'm getting the dog out early in these hot days of August.
Thereafter, I did some cleaning and vacuumed the main floor of the house. I also gave a couple of hours to watching part of Age of Umbra:Episode One from Critical Role.
On the reading side of the ledger, I'm reading one new work, and one old. The new story is Jodi Taylor's A Family Affair: Smallhope & Pennyroyal. It's a new S&P novel set in the Saint Mary's world. For winding down at the end of the day, I'm re-reading E. E. "Doc" Smith's Lensman series in early-edition mass market paperback, currently on book 3, Galactic Patrol.
One joy of the political season - so very many spam phone calls.
